Manufacturer and optical technology firm, Edmund Optics, and Quartus Engineering, provider of engineering services and product development as a service, have announced that they have agreed a new strategic partnership, offering integrated and complex precision opto-mechanical solutions to support their customer’s technologies and accelerate their time to market.
The collaborative venture brings the two firm’s together, and will allow Edmund Optics and Quartus Engineering to leverage each other’s engineering and manufacturing experience. In doing so, they will work on the development of customer-driven opto-mechanical designs and systems, while also developing new optically empowered products for advanced applications.

It is hoped that the combined efforts will result in highly-integrated solutions that deliver superior optical performance, proven reliability, and are manufactured with the speed and scale needed by customers in sectors, such as industrial inspection, aerospace and consumer electronics.
