AMS Technologies has announced that it has acquired Sweden-based Azpect Photonics, expanding the company's Nordic presence.
A pan-European consultancy and solution provider for optical, power and thermal management technologies, AMS Technologies serves more than 1,000 European customers. Azpect Photonics was founded in 1994 and is a supplier of photonics equipment to the Nordic market including lasers, spectroscopy products, instruments and optics. The acquisition contract was signed during AMS Technologies’ annual European sales meeting in Bad Kohlgrub, Germany at the Guggenberg Alm restaurant.

AMS Technologies’ pan-European customers are serviced from a network of local offices in Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Norway, with a focused operations and logistics centre located in Munich, Germany.
