Fibre optic spectroscopy specialist Avantes has opened a new facility in the UK and it will start operations in January 2012.
This new UK subsidiary is based in Leatherhead, Surrey and its managing director is Keith James. Avantes develops and manufactures products in the field of spectroscopy, such as spectrometers, light sources, software, fibre optic cables and probes, accessories and fibre optic sensor systems.
Avantes has recently moved to its new world headquarters in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. The company has established subsidiaries in the USA and China and is supported worldwide by a network of qualified distributors.
