Bill Clinton promotes 'green' LEDs

Dialight has joined forces with former US President Bill Clinton to make its green products more affordable and accessible to city governments and consumers throughout the world.

The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) has announced discounted pricing agreements with 25 manufacturers, including Dialight, to promote energy-efficient products including indoor lighting, clean vehicles, traffic and street lighting, building products, advanced waste management technologies, water system components and alternative energy technologies.

Dialight plc will offer solid-state lighting products, based on the use of the light emitting diodes (LEDs), to 1,100 cities in the United States and 40 in the rest of the world. The initial focus will be on traffic signals but will eventually include other products which use LEDs.
