Market focus hot topics at Nexus Business Media's European Conference on Optical Communications 2013 exhibition have been announced.
Now in its eighth year the exhibition's market focus, sponsored by Oclaro, will have hot topics on datacentres: optics in cloud computing, future applications, optical network agility and software defined networks, service provider optical transmission, optical integration and digital silicon photonics, packet-optical transport and mass market broadband fibre access.
The topics have been decided by the ECOC exhibition advisory panel, which includes global representatives from independent industry bodies, analyst groups, system vendors, telecom operators and component manufacturers.
'The Market Focus is one of the highlights of the exhibition and we have worked tremendously hard over the years to make it the success it is today,' said Beverley Lucas, group event manager. 'We broke all attendance and speaker records in 2012 and are keen to continue to deliver a truly focused and successful 2013 Market Focus.
