Edmund Optics has appointed Maria Light as director of sales for North, Central and South America.
Light will work directly with Allan Kreutzer, EO's VP of global sales to further develop the company's strategic sales plan for both standard and custom optical components and assemblies.
Light most recently served as director of product management and business development at NanoOpto. Prior to that, she held vice president positions in sales and marketing and ultimately in business development at Photonics Products Group. She holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Central Florida.
