Edmund Optics has hired several engineers to support customer service and product development.
These include Amr Khalil, who joins as product line manager for all photonics products. Khalil has more than 10 years in the photonics industry, working with Hamamatsu, Spectra Physics and Panasonic. He will continue to aggressively grow Edmund's product lines and support the 8,000 products now available in this category.
In addition to Khalil, Greg Mulligan has joined as the Southwest regional sales manager for the US. Mulligan has a technical and sales background at companies including Hoya Optics, Optical Coating Laboratories, US Precision Glass, and Market Tech. He will be expanding accounts in this region, ultimately working out of Edmund's Optical Design Centre in Tucson, Arizona.
