Carmen Ferrari has joined the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) as its events and marketing manager.
Ferrari, who has a bachelor degree in business administration, will organise EPIC events and maintain online and offline interaction among experts and leaders of the international photonics community.
‘I am very excited to join EPIC and play an active role in the fascinating world of photonics. I look very much forward to meeting the community and working with the team to further enrich the on- and offline experience of our members,’ said Ferrari. ‘I hope to contribute in strengthening their existing connections, establish new contacts, and eventually contribute to their overall success in the industry.’
EPIC is an industry association that promotes the sustainable development of organisations working in the field of photonics. The company fosters a photonics ecosystem by maintaining a strong network and acting as a catalyst and facilitator for technological and commercial advancement.
‘The timing for Ferrari to join the EPIC team is perfect as it allows us to extend our offering of member services from technology workshops to now also include a series of international business delegations,’ said Carlos Lee, director general of the association.
