Excelitas Technologies has opened an LED Center of Excellence at its facility in Shenzhen, China, which will serve as a base for the company to develop and manufacture advanced LED-based lighting solutions.
At the Center of Excellence, Excelitas Technologies will focus on helping customers introduce LED -based lighting designs for a variety of different markets, including surgical and dental lighting, hazardous area lighting, signalling, aerospace lighting, and more. As the government and an increasing number of companies in China are expected to continue investing heavily in LED-based manufacturing products and equipment, the Center of Excellence provides the local resources necessary to meet this increased demand.
