Optical fibre manufacturer Fiberguide Industries has been acquired by the sensor, safety and technology group, Halma. Fiberguide management will retain existing responsibilities, but will now have collaborative opportunities with Halma’s network of photonics equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
Fiberguide president Ted Rich said: ‘Fiberguide now has access to Halma’s global resources to further drive new product introductions and to meet the needs of our customers. We also expect to benefit from numerous cross-selling opportunities and to access Halma’s distribution channels throughout the world.'
