The collaborative company will deliver a range of customised optical components to the global industrial laser, biomedical, defence and metrology market places.
The launch will see Cleveland Crystals, Gooch and Housego UK, Landwehr Electronic, NEOS Technologies, and Sifam Fibre Optics joined as one company with headquarters in the UK and offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Gareth Jones, Gooch and Housego CEO, said: ‘As well as seeing us meet the market demand for reduced supplier numbers and simplified supply chains, our global integration as Gooch and Housego will enable us to better leverage the combined skills from across the organisation to develop new products that will enable us to enter new markets.
‘We expect this new strategy to maximise sales across our customer base and bring significant growth to the company.’
