The life sciences division of Gooch & Housego (formerly ChromoDynamics) has been awarded a grant of $244,479 under the qualified therapeutic discovery project programme of the US Internal Revenue Service. The company states that this grant will support continued development of its novel cervical cancer assay, which includes both PAP stain and multiple biomarker labelling using an automated hyperspectrally imaging slide reader based on Gooch and Housego’s proprietary HSi-300 acousto-optic imaging system.
