High Q Laser has won the Innovation Award 2008 presented by the State of Vorarlberg, Austria and the Economic Chamber for its FemtoRegen UC-Industrial, an ultra compact femtosecond amplifier. The prize is awarded biennially to outstanding product innovations and R&D achievements.
'The main target of the development was the laser stability,' said Karl Dobler, CEO of High Q Laser Innovation. The power of the all-in-one amplifier is 8W at a repetition rate of 500kHz and a pulse duration of 350fs. It is the ideal laser source to be integrated as an OEM product due to its compact size with a footprint of just 78 x 34cm, as well as an all-in-one controller and the ability for full remote control and signal read out.
