Jenoptik has appointed Dr Dietmar Wagner as general manager of the company's Automatisierungstechnik subsidiary and head of the lasers and material processing division’s laser processing systems business unit.
Wagner was previously managing director of Thun, Switzerland-based Lasag and has worked in the fields of laser technology and material processing for more than 25 years. Jenoptik’s lasers and material processing division specialises in automated and process-optimised machines and systems for laser-based material processing. It supplies the automotive industry. Automatisierungstechnik is one of two companies within the laser processing systems business unit.
