Jenoptik has opened an application centre in Fremont in the Silicon Valley region, California, to enhance customer proximity and support growth in the United States.
The new Jenoptik office, which will be Jenoptik's eighth facility in the US, will serve the unique engineering and product development needs of the region, and provide local support. The centre will also serve as a hub to connect and integrate competencies from other development centres of Jenoptik worldwide.

Jenoptik now has more than 30 facilities across the globe and eight offices in the US. The firm continues to realise growth in a number of markets including life science, medical systems, laser material processing, the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry as well as the fast growing market of silicon photonics. Jenoptik’s capabilities range from development and manufacturing of high-precision optical and micro-optical systems and solutions to digital imaging and customised software solutions.
