Laser manufacturer JK Lasers has appointed Michael Haase as its new German sales manager.
Haase trained as a mechanical engineer and has ten years experience in the laser industry. During his career Haase has been involved in the development and commercialisation of new laser processing methods and has a broad knowledge of laser technology, including fibre and Nd:YAG.
Paul Ferris is JK Laser’s worldwide sales director. He said: ‘Michael is a valuable asset to JK Lasers and we are delighted he has joined our team. Customers in Germany will undoubtedly benefit from his depth of industry knowledge and understanding of the German marketplace.’
Haase’s work experience includes research and development for Laser Zentrum, Hannover and running his own laser company, H2B Photonics. When that company was acquired by Rofin-Baasel Lasertech, Haase became Rofin’s solar industry sales manager.
