Electronic display consultants Meko has appointed Paul Butler as analyst director.
Butler has worked in the European display industry for over 20 years, working primarily at the business front end of sales and marketing.
After establishing the Iiyama Corporation's UK subsidiary in 1993, Butler rose through various positions to become Iiyama's European sales and marketing director in 2000. Butler's technical background, business success and market awareness were put to wider use in 2003 when he moved to the Iiyama Procurement HQ in Taiwan as deputy director.
During a three-year stay in Taiwan, Paul moved to Chimei Corporation division Nexgen Mediatech, responsible for the OEM supply of LCD TVs in Europe. Butler then returned to Europe where he launched the Mirai and Chimei brands in the European market.
