Following the acquisition of photonics test and measurement company ILX Lightwave by Newport, European customers can now order the Montana-based company’s products directly from its new owner’s sales offices.
To welcome its new ILX Lightwave customers in Europe, Newport will offer a 10 per cent discount on all ILX product orders received until the end of May 2012. Newport sales offices began taking orders in the first week of April. The ILX Lightwave product family will also be supported by Newport’s network of sales, logistics and customer services in Europe. ILX products range from bench top laser diode controllers to multi-channel laser diode controllers, high power laser diode drivers, high power laser diode mounting fixtures, pulsed current sources, laser diode temperature controllers, optical power meters, optical measurement heads, fibre optic sources and laser diode test systems.
