Light simulation company Optis has expanded its North American sales and engineering teams.
The appointment of Jane Trenaman as business development manager in June; the establishment of an office in Troy, Michigan in August; and the appointment of Andrea Fields as sales account manager in September; have now been followed by the appointment of Mark Davey as NA regional sales manager and Joe Wang as application engineer.
Davey brings over 15 years of sales and marketing management experience in high-tech software firms to Optis’ NA team. He will focus on development of the existing account base as well as new business development, with concentration on the Company’s SPEOS CAAv5 product offering, especially for the Automotive and Aerospace industries.
Wang, with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Optics from the University of Rochester in New York, joins Maroun Massabki and Rami Saab to reinforce Optis’ local Application Engineering team. Joe will focus on supporting the OptisWorks customer base, working closely with Andrea Fields across many industries, from lighting to imaging; electronics to medical instrumentation, and on new applications such as solar energy.
