Peter Allard has joined Alpine Research Optics as its Western Area sales manager. He will be responsible for sales and marketing of the company’s high damage threshold laser optics for ultraviolet (UV), visible and near-infrared (NIR) applications. Allard will serve customers and client organisations located in the western United States.
Allard has nearly 20 years of experience in the photonics industry. He has held sales and marketing management positions at Melles Griot and Sunex, and worked as an optical engineer at Loral Aeornutronic.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in optics from the University of Rochester and an MBA.
