Laser 2007. World of Photonics trade show is set to include nine workshops focusing on the practical application of laser technology as part of this year’s ‘Light at Work’ theme, organisers have announced.
The workshops will focus on production automation, quality assurance, and process optimisation. Titles include: Laser technology ABCs, Biophotonics and Microscopy Laser Applications, and lasers for manufacturing photovoltaics.
Industry specialists who will host the workshops and lead question and answer sessions include Dr Herbert Gross of Carl Zeiss, Dr Ulrich Hefter of Rofin-Sinar and Dr Thomas Renner of Toptica Photonics.
The Laser 2007 event will be held June 18-21 in Munich, Germany.
