Optics test and measurement specialist Radiant Zemax has announced it has acquired UK-based Optima Research.
Optima Research will continue to act as Europe’s local office for sales and support of Zemax 12 optical and illumination design software, and provide training in computer-based optical design methods.

He is Radiant Zemax’s chief executive officer. ‘This acquisition will accelerate client collaboration and product offerings throughout the European Union. We are gaining strong talent and industry experience to enhance Radiant Zemax technology platforms.’
Radiant Zemax was formed through the merger in 2011 of Zemax Development Corporation and Radiant Imaging. The company is now a global provider of test, measurement, and design tools and systems to the optics, illumination and display industries.
