An independent survey has found that Edmund Optics is one of the best places to work in the Philadelphia region, for the third year in a row.
WorkplaceDynamics, which conducted the survey, invited employees of 1,640 companies around the region to rate their bosses and companies. Edmund Optics was recognised in the mid-size company category for their strengths in five key areas of the workplace. They are its values, leaders and strategy; company communication; opportunities for training and progression; the quality of its management; and employee compensation.
‘We are extremely pleased to receive this recognition,’ said Robert Edmund, Edmund’s CEO. ‘As a business leader in our industry, we are both gratified and honoured to know that this ranking was received based on the feedback of our employees. Simply put, our philosophy is to value all of our employees, treat them with respect and provide opportunities for development.’
The Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com paid WorkplaceDynamics for the survey that saw 152 of the 1,640 invited companies surveyed with 45,536 employees receiving surveys, and 28,383 responding.
