German company Trioptics has acquired Fisba's uPhase product line of interferometers, as well as the latter's Berlin subsidiary. According to the two companies, the µPhase product line will complement Trioptics' product portfolio of optical test equipment.
Under the new partnership, Trioptics will undertake all market activities, meaning that Fisba will no longer deal with end customers. The optical core components of the µPhase product line will be produced by Fisba for the new owner, Trioptics from now on. During the course of this change, Trioptics will acquire Fisba Optik GmbH in Berlin, along with all its employees. Furthermore, a partnership with Fisba Optik AG, CH has been formed to guarantee continuity in quality and service for all µPhase products.
