Photonics businesses in the UK are to be shown how partnering with universities can help them grow at a conference being held in London later this month.
The Advanced Technology Showcase event on 24th October will put businesses in direct touch with universities that are looking to form a collaboration or joint venture with companies. Speakers from the Confederation of British Industry, Cisco, Vodafone and UK universities will advise participants on how to embark on joint ventures and entrepreneurial activity. Entrepreneurs will discuss their experiences of this type of activity and technology licensing opportunities advice will also be available.
The event is being organised by University College London, in partnership with the University of Cambridge and the government supported Electronics, Sensors, Photonics Knowledge Transfer Network. The event is to be held at Senate House, Malet Street, London.
