3D-Shape has launched the µKorad3D optical 3D measurement system for microscopic applications. It uses white-light interferometry and allows a full-area surface measurement with nanometer accuracy. µKorad3D can be used for random sampling applications and for quality control on the production line. In contrast to touch-probe measurement systems, it can evaluate the full area of a product, and not just the profile.
