Finnish company Modulight has announced the extension of its LimeLight product family with the introduction of the 465nm (1W) blue laser single-emitter based system for acne treatment and teeth whitening.
The existing LimeLight family comprises lasers for medical, industrial and defence applications in the range of 465nm to 1550nm with output powers up to 1.5W. Standard products come with fibre output with an SMA-905 connector, integrated driver and cooling controller.
LimeLight systems can be controlled through a USB port with a standard PC user interface or by an analogue/digital control signal directly and supports both continuous wave and pulsed operation. The following wavelengths and maximum powers are offered as standard configuration, 465nm at 1W, 635nm at 400mW, 650nm at 750mW, 808nm at 1.5W, 1470nm at 700mW and 1550nm at 500mW.
