Precision Glass & Optics (PG&O) now offer anti-reflective (AR) optical coatings for biomedical and life sciences applications. Suitable for coating on quartz, BK-7, glass, and a wide variety of other optical materials, the AR coatings improve performance in optical systems by increasing transmission and enhancing contrast. PG&O optical thin film coating capabilities include a chamber that can coat four 24-inch diameter substrates at a time.
PG&O provides anti-reflection coatings ranging from 250nm to 2,500nm in thickness, including standard broadbands, V-Coatings, and double V-Coatings matched to a variety of substrates, as well as single-layer magnesium fluoride (MgF2). The standard broadband coatings are ideal for many research and industrial tasks and perform exceptionally well on all optical materials. AR coatings can be designed to accommodate custom operational wavelength and angle requirements.
