The BTC651E from spectrometer B&W Tek combines high efficiency optics, a back-thinned 2D CCD detector array, and an imaging spectrograph. The spectrometers offers high throughput in a compact package. Low light spectral applications, particularly Raman or fluorescence benefit the most from its high photometric sensitivity. The spectrometer has a fast f/# 2.3 spectrograph with fibre light coupling. It has a throughput improvement of four to five times greater than that of conventional crossed Czerny-Turner spectrographs, and excellent imaging quality.
