Optris has introduced its CSmicro series of infrared pyrometers, aimed particularly at OEM integrators. The devices can be simultaneously operated at several different infrared measuring points.
The compact pyrometers have applications in the automotive area, providing temperature control during various industrial processes.
The sensors cover a temperature range from -40°C to 1,600°C and are available with a new LED display, which serves as a target for the sensor adjustment as well as to showing the condition of the pyrometer.
The CSmicro pyrometer series uses an analogue two-wire interface (4-20mA current loop), and offers the possibility of sending digital data via a USB interface to a connected PC. Beside a temperature recording via the integration of this sensor into the optris CompactConnect software, complete programming and remote setup can be done.
