Photonics Automation Specialties has just commissioned a fully automated 20 kW life test rack for a leading manufacturer of diode laser devices. The custom system is fully integrated into the manufacturer’s production line, and operates devices in both pulsed and CW modes. Features also include monitoring of heat dissipation, device current, fiber boot temperature, voltage, and optical power.
