Coherent has expanded its range of laser energy measurement products with its new 'meterless' EnergyMax sensors. Incorporating state-of-the-art miniaturisation technology found in the company's successful PowerMax sensors, EnergyMax meterless sensors eliminate the need for an external meter, allowing the user to monitor laser energy using a PC. The sensors provide plug-and-play system integration for pulsed lasers with repetition rates of up to 10kHz, while also offering cost-savings over traditional meter plus sensor systems.
