Bruno Laser has introduced its GSS laser, a green source suitable for biophotonic applications such as optical tweezing, where high pointing stability and beam quality (M2<1.1) are advantageous. The 532nm source offers excellent intensity stability over the entire operation range using integrated thermal management components. The unit offers fully variable power output from threshold to a maximum of 100mW which reduces the need for optical filtration. Power output is indicated to a resolution of 10 mW using an LCD display integrated into the top panel. The GSS draws less than 5.5W under full operation in typical environments, and is air cooled with a robust CNC machined aluminium body.
