Imagine Optic has introduced its HP-16, the latest addition to its HASO family of Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors for adaptive optics and metrology applications.
The HP-16 provides ~λ/300 accuracy combined with a repeatability of <λ/400. The device is delivered with HASOv3 wavefront analysis software that enables users to perform both zonal and modal wavefront reconstruction, as well as allowing the visualisation of spot data and raw camera images. Optional software add-ons enable users to calculate the PSF, MTF and Strehl ratio.
The HP-16’s exceptional accuracy makes it suitable for the nanometric characterisation of mirrors and catadioptric systems, as well as for aligning high-precision optical systems.
