Telops has released a new version of its Hyper-Cam hyperspectral imager, with features to facilitate operation and data processing. A GPS and compass can now be added to the device in order to produce data cubes, which include a UTC time-stamp as well as GPS coordinates and heading information. Spectral data can be easily correlated to spatial or time-referenced information. The new Hyper-Cam will also provide improved thermal resistance of critical components for a more robust system under elevated temperature operation.
