AMS Technologies has launched high power isolators from Oz Optics. The product enlargement involves two models for powers up to 30 or 50W. The isolators for up to 30W are offered with Large Mode Area (LMA) Single Mode (SM) fibre pigtail on one side and collimated free-space beam on the other side. The 50W design is available as free-space version. The high power isolators are used in fibre lasers, amplifiers and CATV systems among others. Further isolators are available for lower powers, both fibre coupled and free-space, for wavelengths ranging from 488 to 1,600nm.
