Hamamatsu Photonics has released a compact VUV light source module.
The L10706 uses a compact deuterium lamp, with an MgF2 window, to provide high output intensity in the VUV range from 115nm to 400nm. The lamp is combined together with high voltage power supply, integrated driver electronics, optics and vacuum flange mount.
The L10706 is suited for applications in UV field spectroscopy, VUV spectrophotometry, semi-conductor processing, electro-static removal, fluorescence, photo-ionisation and optical CVD.
