3SAE Technologies has introduced a Large Diameter Bend Proof Tester and Fiber Cleaver.
The Bend Proof Tester is the first commercially available unit for testing the mechanical splice strength of large diameter fibres measuring 250µm to 1mm.
The Large Diameter Fiber Cleaver is a compact, battery-operated unit that accommodates fibre diameters from 125µm to 550µm. This unit is designed and manufactured by NorthLab Photonics in Stockholm, Sweden, to meet the need for an affordable large diameter fibre cleaver suitable for both factory and field use.
