Laser Components has introduced Femto’s new LCA-Mini series current amplifier range, designed for the OEM market as an off-the-shelf unit. The unit can be optimised for user's applications with factory set bandwidth, gain and input connectors. Initial models can be pre-set to any bandwidth range between DC 1MHz and a gain of 107 volts per ampere (V/A) to 109 V/A, amplifying a select frequency range for better signal–noise ratio. The unit weighs 25g and typical applications include a pre-amplifier for photodiodes and photomultipliers, scanning tunnelling microscopy systems and AFM systems.
