Alltec has released the LF050, a novel 5W fibre laser marking system for finely marking and coding small parts such as electrical components. It is also suitable for marking foils, films, bags and composite packaging.
Character heights smaller than 150μm and line widths smaller than 30μm are possible due to its short wavelength, high beam quality and precise galvanometer scanner. It can mark at speeds of up to 800 characters per second. The system is easy to integrate into production environments such as component handling and testing lines, while offering reliable and maintenance-free operation.
