Laservision has released the latest bilingual version of its laser safety training software LIMITS. It comes with both a German and an English version and is suitable for laser safety lecturers and users of lasers for self-study and as reference book.
LIMITS has a mixture of graphically-animated presentations, practical video sequences, and lexicon, containing the basic knowledge for laser safety agents as used in the guidelines of government safety organisations.
The training software runs over nine chapters, which cover issues including light, laser radiation, operation modes, biological effects, laser classes, secondary dangers, protection activities, and safety eyewear.
