Modulight, a laser manufacturer based in Tampere, Finland and San Jose, CA, has made two additions to its OEM laser system platform. The releases are the ML6400 single-mode laser system and ML6600 multi-wavelength laser system. The smaller ML6400 has a footprint of 2 x 2 inches, while the larger 6 x 6-inch ML6600 houses up to three different wavelengths. UV and visible single-mode laser modules at 405–690nm are available, designed for use in the field of biophotonics and fluorescence microscopy.
The ML6400 and ML6600 laser systems share the same design language, interfaces and key features as the flagship ML6500 modules. All versions have driving and cooling controls integrated into the module, and they can be controlled by external set voltage.
Additionally, direct controlling is available through an easy-to-use PC user interface that supports multiple laser units or multiple wavelength channels simultaneously.
