Rofin’s Modular Processing System (MPS) 3D is suited to automated material processing tasks where four or five interpolated axes of movement are required.
The MPS 3D’s granite bridge allows the integration of direct beam sources such as Rofin’s ultra-short pulse lasers StarFemto FX and StarPico. Fibre-coupled laser systems like the StarFiber and LFS, as well as pulsed lasers such as the StarPulse and SLS can all be integrated. The system integrates both axis modules and control units, it has a pneumatically operated door and can be configured for laser welding, laser cutting, laser drilling, and laser structuring. The MPS 3D can be programmed using CAD/CAM software.
