Photon, a manufacturer of beam profiling equipment, has announced that its line of beam profilers is now compatible with Apple computers. Both the USB NanoScan and USBeamPro products have been demonstrated by the company on a Apple MacBook computer. Photon customers are therefore not limited to computers dedicated to the Microsoft Windows operating system, providing more choice in which computers they use. Current Photon users can also switch to Apple Computers with no further modification of their Photon systems. Photon has written a guide to help users operate their Photon equipment on Apple computers as seamlessly as possible, and the company makes it available to customers upon request.
