Rofin has released a robust and compact Q-switched fibre laser marking system, IP54 rated, appropriate for industrial use.
The PowerLine F marking system includes Rofin’s control software (VLM) and the latest fibre laser technology, making this robust laser system suitable for a variety of marking applications. As standard the laser is equipped with a 160mm focal length lens, providing a marking area of 120mm x 120mm. Other lenses are available (application dependant) providing marking fields up to 300mm x 300mm on request.
The wide Q-switch frequency range for the Yb fibre provides a wide window of operation for marking applications. Diminutive dimensions make PowerLine F easy to integrate, and the associated 19" rack mountable supply unit and pc measure just 3U and 1U respectively, making integration simple. The laser is air-cooled and operates from a standard single phase 13A socket.
