Albis Optoelectronics has announced the availability of PQW30A-S, a hermetically packaged, short wavelength, 30GHz RF photodetector. This small sized, pigtailed device is used for the detection of RF-modulated optical signals and combines a number of unique features such as an integrated bias-T, a high responsivity GaAs photodiode as well as a hermetic enclosure.
