Electrox has upgraded its Raptor laser, the company’s entry-level galvo-based laser marking system. Raptor is ideal for companies engaged in high value, low volume manufacturing and can be used to mark parts in automotive, medical, pharmaceutical, aerospace and general engineering industries.
The Raptor features an EF Technology laser and can permanently mark 1,000 characters per second with an accuracy of 5µm. This means it produces high quality marks that don’t fade because the laser changes the colour of the material.
Raptor uses the Scriba programming software, which is Windows compatible. This enables a range of marks to be produced including barcodes, date coding, two dimensional codes such as Data Matrix and automatic serialisation.
Raptor is now paired with the workstation Electrox Marking System (EMS) 100. For more information on the EMS range click here.
