Ibsen Photonics has launched the Rock UV line of industrial grade, robust OEM spectrometers for the 200-400nm wavelength range. The Rock UV spectrometer enables typically four times higher optical throughput than traditional spectrometers due to a near on-axis beam geometry and the use of Ibsen Photonics' efficient transmission gratings.
The Rock UV spectrometers come in three standard variants using either a CCD for low cost applications, a back-thinned CCD for low light applications, or a CMOS line array sensor for applications requiring high dynamic range and high signal-to-noise ratio. Furthermore, the OEM-friendly design allows adaptation of detector and electronics to enable customers to re-use existing electronics and software designs.
