B&W Tek has introduced its the Sol 2.6 fibre-coupled NIR spectrometer. The device features a high performance linear InGaAs array with 256 pixels, a high throughput, a large dynamic range, and a standard spectral range of 1,550-2,550nm. Thermoelectric cooling reduces the temperature of the detector to -15°C.
The spectrometer features a built-in auto-zero function resulting in exceptionally low noise and high dynamic range. It is designed with four levels of gain, producing great results for most applications in low light level NIR detection. The Sol 2.6 is also equipped with a built-in three-stage cooler, with no external control box, allowing for easy integration just by providing +5VDC power.
