Test and measurement distributor Amplicon has announced the launch of the first 12-bit high definition oscilloscopes from Teledyne LeCroy.
The HDO4000 series of oscilloscopes has a waveform display that has 16 times more vertical resolution than the conventional 8-bit instruments. According to Teledyne, this makes waveform details, that were previously difficult to see, easily distinguishable and measureable.
The machine features a sample rate of 2.5 gigasamples per second with up to 2Mpts per channel of memory in two and four-channel models.
All HDO models are equipped with a 12-inch touch-screen display and intuitive interface that allows users to control channels, trigger settings, mathematics and advanced measurement functions.
